Looking to inspire and lead a team to continued success? We are searching for a seasoned sales professional to drive growth for a thriving agricultural business covering the North West of England. The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, leading a team and actively contributing to the company’s growth strategy. With a strong background in livestock production systems and proven sales success, you will effectively guide the sales team, adapting and evolving to meet farmer’s needs. If you’re passionate about agriculture, skilled in relationship management, and ready to take on a leadership role in a dynamic sales environment, this could be the role for you.
Responsibilities:
To cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and clients
To develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and grow the market share
To deliver advice and guidance to customers on the comprehensive range of products offered by the business
To actively develop and generate new leads and business opportunities
To provide leadership and support to the team, fostering a supportive and high performing culture
Skills:
Proven sales experience within the agricultural sector
A strong understanding and knowledge of agriculture and livestock production systems
Proven leadership skills, successfully managing a team
Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills
A strong relationship builder, capable of developing relationships fluidly
Highly organised, able to prioritise and manage own diary to meet deadlines
A problem solver, with the capacity to tailor solutions to meet the needs of the customer
Driven, ambitious, and results-focussed
The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
Proficient in IT, Microsoft Office, and CRM packages
A UK driving licence with the willingness to travel
