Responsibilities:
To inspire, lead and support a team of technicians and nutritionists operating in the field
To offer technical advice and guidance on the company’s range of products and services
To cultivate and mature relationships with the sales team, farmers and the wider business
To maintain a professional image and supportive culture at all times
To manage sales budgets and performance, ensuring targets and business goals are achieved
To keep abreast of new market trends and development, actively introducing new initiatives
To collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams, providing reports at sales meetings
Skills:
Proven experience of working within the ruminant feed sector
Strong communication skills with the capacity to lead a team successfully
A broad technical knowledge and understanding of ruminant production systems
A relationship builder, who can confidently build long lasting business relationships
Proficient in problem solving, with the capacity to tailor solutions to meet the needs of the customer
Highly professional with a strong commercial mindset
Driven, ambitious, and results focussed
A team player who can work independently or collaboratively to achieve positive results
Highly organised, able to operate effectively under tight deadlines
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
