Role Responsibilities:
- To assist with daily operations, ensuring consistent and high-quality plant production
- To support the implementation and monitoring of agrochemical and fertiliser programs to help meet production goals and specifications
- To contribute in developing and maintaining efficient growing systems and monitoring productivity
- To ensure accurate record keeping
- To follow company protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
- To participate in training offered to gain in-depth knowledge and understanding of the business
- To work collaboratively with the wider team to meet business objectives
Skills you will need:
Essential:
- A qualification in horticulture, a related subject, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge and experience of a growing vegetables and/or fruit
- A strong interest in the horticultural sector and desire to learn more
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A team player, able to work well within a team
- Organised, able to manage own time effectively and prioritise tasks
- A practical, hands-on approach to work, with a keen eye for detail
- A positive and motivated attitude
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges
- UK driving licence
- Proficient IT skills
