We are seeking an Assistant Poultry Farm Manager to help oversee the daily operations of a modern free range multi-unit enterprise in the West Midlands. This hands-on role requires attention to detail and a focus on flock health and performance. You will support the poultry farm manager in maintaining high standards of care and ensuring biosecurity protocols are followed. Responsibilities:
To assist in the management and welfare of the flock to high standards
To monitor and record egg production, including quality, size and collection
To support the implementation and adherence to biosecurity measures on site
To help maintain compliance with industry standards and manage audit documentation
To work closely with the Farm Manager to develop and execute operational plans
Skills:
Previous experience in poultry management and husbandry practices
Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills
The ability to work independently and take initiative when needed
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks
A strong and dedicated work ethic
Proficient IT skills
