We are now looking for an enthusiastic individual with Agricultural or Farm Workshop Mechanic or Engineering experience in a similar role, who has a can-do attitude and thrives on finding solutions when it comes to machinery repairs, no matter the type of vehicle whether that be a mule, tractor, van or lorry.
Responsibilities:
This role is with a leading Agricultural and Farming Equipment Dealership.
You will…
Service and repair fleet vehicles and machinery (including, but not limited to ATVs, Vans, Lorries, Plant & Machinery)
Carry out service, repair and maintenance on customers’ vehicles.
Deal with new product builds as and when they are received into the dealership.
Keep to monthly workshop targets based on hours worked on internal and external machines.
Keep good stock of parts and consumables and liaise with your Manager as and when orders are required.
Ensure all work being carried out, along with parts used, is completed on daily job sheets and work is corresponded with your Manager.
Ensure the workshop is kept as a safe, clean working environment with daily close down tasks being completed.
Provide excellent customer care when on callouts to customers or internal sites.
Occasional but rare, out of hours calls may occur, depending on the season.
Skills:
Recent experience servicing and repairing fleet vehicles and machinery including ATVs, vans, lorries, tractors, mules, plant and machinery.
Have experience working in a similar role, in a farming environment or on farm.
Able to deliver first-class service to both internal and external customers.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits:
Paying £15 – £18 per hour depending upon experience. (£33,000 – £40,000 per year DOE) + overtime.
Working hours are: 42.5 hours per week (8.00am – 5:30pm / Monday – Friday)
Additional overtime hours can be available depending on the season.
