Agricultural Engineer

G Richardson Agri Ltd are recruiting for an agricultural engineer to work within a growing family business.
As suppliers of NC, Major Opico, Shelbourne Reynolds , Mchale ,Walter Watson, Marshall, Slurry quip and Bobman equipment, our engineers are required to support the sales team in an engineering capacity. Alongside this, G Richardson Agri are specialists in repairing and servicing New Holland and Kramer equipment.
As an engineer working across Cheshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Shropshire you will:

  • Work independently to carry out repairs and maintenance across a range of farm machinery, tractors and loadalls. This will be both in our workshop in Arclid, Cheshire and on-farm. Be required to safely set up and carry out PDI’s for new machines before arrival on farm. Have the ability to manage daily tasks alongside other team members.
  • Ideally, you will:
  • Be qualified by experience or via agricultural engineering qualifications. Have a thorough understanding of the agricultural industry. Have a full, clean driving licence. Supply your own tool kit.

Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who can work both independently and as part of a team. Candidates should operate with a can-do attitude and be time-efficient and courteous when dealing with customers, both on and off-farm.In return, we will offer you: A fully operating works van with racking and components. Annual CPD training carried out by suppliers. Auto-enrolment pension scheme with Nest Standard 28 days holiday including bank holidays – These days are not fixed but must be approved with prior notice given. A competitive salary dependent on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
