The Cheshire Ploughing & Hedge-cutting Society officials are looking forward to welcoming you to the Cheshire Ploughing Match on:
Wednesday 25th September 2024
Holly Tree Farm, Lower Withington, Macclesfield, SK11 9DT
By kind permission of the Lea & Venables families.
This year the showground will be full of trade stands, lots of ploughing and hedge-laying competitions. People trailers will be on site to transport visitors from the showground to the competitions for those who don't fancy the walk.
Entry to the match is £20, this includes a complimentary programme if required.
Children of school age are free of charge, Student tickets with valid ID entry are £10.
We will have the usual AA signs directing you to the match.
Gates open from 9am, the showground is open all day.
Competitions start at 10am and finish at 2pm, the presentation of prizes will take place at approximately 4pm in the luncheon marquee.
The Cheshire Ploughing Match is considered to be the best Agricultural event and working demonstration in the County.
