J A Bloor Agricultural Services Ltd hosted an open day at Overton Farm, Hollington on Saturday 15th April and raised a whopping £7,048.65 for RABI.
The RABI charity works tirelessly to uplift and support farming people through practical, financial and emotional assistance. Whether it’s giving expert advice on benefits potentially available to farming people or accessing mental health support, RABI offers a beacon of hope. (www.rabi.org.uk)
At the JAB Agri Open Day, over 500 farmers, rural & construction customers enjoyed a complimentary hog roast prepared & served by TG Sargeant, some homemade fruit cake & refreshments, as well as the ever-popular Ashmore’s Ice Cream van in support too!
Alongside charity games & a generous raffle, the team were delighted to welcome Alastair Sneddon of Bagshaws to run a charity auction on the day. Lots were kindly donated by key suppliers and many local businesses. “We would like to extend our sincere, personal thanks to all our sponsors and visitors who generously supported our event & helped us make such a difference to this really worthwhile cause” says MD, Jason Bloor.
